Students need to be in attendance for the full day every day. Every
day of learning is important and it is no surprise that students with high
levels of attendance learn more. We need our learners to be here at school both
in body and mind if we are to maximise learning. Please ensure learners are
well rested, well fed, at school and inside their classroom ready to learn by
8:50.
Bell and session times
Teaching beings at 8.50am and finishes at 3pm
Parents are responsible for supervision of their children until 8:30. No supervision is provided by the school prior to 8:30am and students are not permitted at school prior to this time without supervision.
Daily Routine
8.36am: Bell - Students move from office into school
8.45am: Bell - Students move into class
MORNING SESSION
8.50am to 10.50am: Learning time for all students
1st BREAK
10.50 to 11.15am: 25 minute play
11.15 to 11.30am: 15 minute eating
MIDDLE SESSION
11.30 TO 1PM: Learning time for all students
2nd BREAK
1 to 1.25pm: 25 minute play
1.25 to 1.40pm: 15 minute eating break
AFTERNOON SESSION
1.40 to 3pm: Learning time for all students
