School Buses
Students are able to catch the Willowbank or Deebing Heights buses to and from school. Students are picked up from school at the end of the day and dropped off to school in the morning, inside the school grounds, with this service.
The afternoon school bus procedure is: Staff meet students outside our BASE building to have their names marked off the bus roll. Students are then walked to the bus waiting area, just outside the front school gates, where they are supervised until the buses arrive.
Parents wishing to add their child's name to a bus roll, can phone the school on (07) 3280 3111 or email admin@amberleydistrictss.eq.edu.au. Parents wishing to change the days their child catches the bus or if their child needs to catch a different bus are encouraged to inform the school as soon as possible via phone or email.
Students have an obligation to follow a set of behavioural guidelines when travelling on school buses. These, School Codes of Conduct, can be found via the Bus Queensland website.
