Walking tours
We hold regular walking tours of the school with the Principal where you get to view the school facilities as well as meeting some of our wonderful staff. Before then you can watch this video to find out more about our school.

Enrolment
Students may enrol at Amberley District State School at any time during the year. To enrol at the school please complete an Application for Enrolment.
Catchment managed school
Only students who reside within the catchment area are automatically eligible for enrolment. For a detailed map of the school's catchment area, please see the

**Proof of Residence is required before any student is enrolled**

Enrolment interview
As part of the enrolment process, parent/carers along with the enrolling student/s require an interview with the Principal or Deputy Principal.
Once an Application for Enroment has been completed and submitted to the school, office staff will book an available interview time. Office staff will advise parent/carers of what documentation they need to provide depending on whether students are enrolling from another Queensland State School, non-government school, interstate or overseas school.
Required documentation
- Proof of Residence e.g. rental agreement, rates notice, Defence housing contract
- Original birth certificate, birth certificate extract or passport is required for children entering Prep or coming from interstate or overseas
- Report Cards and records of previous schooling are very helpful in meeting students needs (not necessary if student is transferring from a Queensland State School).
- Special needs information e.g. Reports from specialists or medical practitioners and health workers that will help us to meet the needs of your child
