Student ICT Device Program
Information and communication technologies (ICT) are an important part of contemporary schooling. The Australia Curriculum includes ICTs as a general capability across all learning areas, as well as Digital Technologies as a specific learning area. Many schools implement one-to-one ICT device programs, where students use a dedicated electronic device to enhance their learning experiences.
ADSS One-To-One Model
At Amberley District, students in grade 5 and 6 use ICT as an integral part of their learning and to equip them to live and work successfully in the digital world. As part of the Student Resource Scheme (SRS), students will have access to a laptop via a hire arrangement. The cost of this is $45 per year and is included in the (SRS) payment. The laptop will remain at school.
